CORPORATE LIFE

EXECUTIVE LEVEL WORK

RCTV STUDIO

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR (2011 - 2020)

"Reality Check TV Studio has been launched, an experienced service-oriented outgrowth of Reality Check TV. Indie performers are being offered the same services employed by bands like Jetboy and Testament, including videography, editing, music videos and live event production services.

From Lemmy (Motorhead) to the Pope, Disney to the Haight Ashbury, Comedy in the Park to Christmas at the White House their roster of clients and collaborators is an amazing assortment of major media entities and pop culture icons. "

- Music Connection Magazine, Sept 2012

THE THOMAS KINKADE COMPANY

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR MEDIA DEPARTMENT (1996 - 2011)

When the Avid dealership disbanded, my trusty Avid computer and I were immediately hired by Thom and we hit the ground running. My tenure was a non stop adventure filming, photographing and producing all kinds of media for the 'Painter of Light'. Hundreds of video clips produced and thousands of miles traveled. I was brought on to lead and grow the media department; most specifically:

> Video media for the galleries

> Marketing and sales media

> Support for QVC shows

> CD and DVD retail products

> Historical Documentation

DVP TECHDOC

AVID TECHNOLOGY / APPLE / ADOBE RESELLER (1991 - 1996)

It was the 'cutting edge'. At the time non linear video editing was truly amazing. I designed custom video post production studios for many famous and aspiring filmmakers, corporate clients and broadcast news stations. They used to call us 'technology evangelists' at our tradeshow booths at Macworld and NAB. Back in the days when combat boots and pony tails were still edgy.

> Techical design and integration

> Marketing and sales

> Beta testing and de-bugging

> Trade show demonstrations

> Certified educator and technician

ACADEMY OF ART UNIVERSITY

SENIOR PROFESSOR (1994 - 1997)

For the Academy, I installed a massive video post production facility complete with eight Avid editing suites. The head of the media department said, "Now we have the technology, but no one knows how to teach it." I wrote the university level curriculum and taught three classes a week as my side gig. I am proud that many of my students are now industry professionals. My responsibilities were:

> Techical design and integration

> Class Instruction

> Curriculum creator and consultant

> Facility maintenance

> Introductory and master level classes

BIRCH GROVE FILMS

FILM PRODUCER (2010 - 2015)

Really. I was a Hollywood Producer. I worked with my good friend Michael Campus who is known for directing the cult film classic The Mack starring Richard Pryor. We worked together on the film Thomas Kinkade's Christmas Cottage and collaborated on an adventure series called Dragonfire for cable television. It was a real honor to work with a legend in the industry.

> Producer

> Story Consultant

> Marketing and media

> Technical support

> Production and post production

We opened our office in a 1923 former bank and became a leading value added reseller of tools to combat the pandemic.

Working in New York City...

INTERNATIONAL ROBOTICS

ROBOT TECHNICIAN (1985 - 1989)

One day on my stage at Silvercup Studios, a tall blue eyed robot asked me for a cup of oil. Next thing I knew I was a robot builder's apprentice building SICO the Robot. Under the watchful eye of inventor Maris Ambats (inventor of the Mood Ring) and master showman Robert Doornick we took SICO to star with Sylvester Stallone in Rocky IV and feature in a music video with Carly Simon. At our loft in NYC I would give SICO a test run while our neighbor Keith Haring would hang out with us. I worked on:

> SICO the Robot

> Robot for Six Flags Great Adventure

> PULSAR for Pulsations Nightclub

> Robot Performance

SILVERCUP STUDIOS

STUDIO MANAGER (1984 - 1985)

Fresh out of film school, I landed a job at the (then) brand new film production facility Silvercup Studios. I helped build out the lighting department and was quickly promoted to managing my very own sound stage. I had the opportunity to work with Bruce Springsteen, Carrie Fisher, Donald Sutherland and many local directors and crew. I thought my film career was on it's way until I was abducted by a robot. Before that, I managed the stage for films and productions such as:

> Heaven Help Us

> Garbo Talks

> National commercials

> Television series
